I think it’s safe to say that hiking can be a beautiful adventure, especially when in good company. Pair that with a surprise proposal, and you've got a pretty picturesque engagement.
In this adorable clip, this couple stands together to take a photo in front of a gorgeous view.
Her boyfriend wanted to keep the element of surprise going for a couple of minutes, so he decided to fool her into thinking that the camera wasn’t taking the photo or that he didn’t know how to set a timer on it.
This, however, led to a few funny faces, impatient glares, and eventually, one truly shocked expression. An expression that I’m sure made his heart melt when he finally asked the question.
Surprise proposals can sometimes need a bit of help from friends and family to make it work smoothly, but he really did have it all under control.
Eventually, as he makes his way back to his wife-to-be, he turns to her and gets on one knee. The camera had been working fine and was, in fact, taping them the entire time. You can tell how truly in love they are by how lovingly he spoke to her and how utterly excited she was by the words he was saying.
What a beautiful way of proposing to someone!
