7-Year-Old Becomes The Most Adorable Guest Correspondent On Australian News

Mater Vandelour may only be seven, but this kid is already proving he is ready for his close up.

The youngster was recently featured as a guest reporter for Australia's Channel 7 News Queensland, covering The Royal Queensland Show or Ekka — an agricultural festival. During the segment, he was professional and poised as he visits some sheep, checks out the rides and interviews numerous festival visitors.

Let's just say, he totally had us at, "G'day, Kendall!"

This kid is full of so many funny sayings and cute moments, you can't help but smile at his enthusiasm. Just wait until you see him get chased by the sheep and one runs into him. Kids really do say the darnedest things!

"I can't believe I got bumped by a sheep!" he exclaims.

His journalistic skills even impressed a young girl, who agreed to accompany him on the Rockin' Tug ride in Sideshow Alley.

It's so funny to see what happens to kids deliver the news. (Last summer, Noah Ritter took the internet by storm during a live newscast with at a local fair when he couldn't stop using the word "apparently.")

Vandelour on the other hand already looks like a seasoned reporter, as he delivers the inside look at the Ekka festival. While no one knew what to expect when they handed him the microphone, what they got was pure television gold!
