See The Trailer For ‘Batkid Begins,’ The True Story Of A Sick Boy Who Had His Wish Come True

Holy heartstrings, Batman! This is one story that you really need to grab the tissues for…

If you look all around, there are "superheroes" everywhere. They don't always need to be wearing a mask or a cape, although it can help in cases like with these young kids suffering in the hospital, but they all have at least one thing in common. These everyday heroes make life a little bit better for those who are struggling in life.

For kids who are suffering from terminal diseases, superheroes come in many forms, but some of their absolute favorites are the ones on the big screen, who allow them to escape from their painful lives for just a short while.

For one little boy diagnosed with leukemia, there's only one hero who tops the list, Batman. When five-year-old Miles Scott's wish to become "Batkid" was heard by the amazing people of the Make A Wish Foundation, I doubt anyone knew just how big of an impact he would make on the city of San Francisco and people around the world.

However, with help from social media, the "Batkid" wish quickly took flight. With help from San Francisco's Mayor Ed Lee, the police department and thousands of people who wanted to take part in a special day for Miles, the Golden Gate City was transformed into Gotham, a town in need of saving by Batman and his adorable assistant.

As you can see in the following video, a trailer for the upcoming documentary Batkid Begins: The Wish Heard Around the World, Miles didn't just get his wish. He ended up "saving" countless people from their everyday existence and give them a reason to give back.
