Military Dad Surprises His Three Kids While They’re Shopping

The holidays are a time when many families come together and celebrate. But, tons of servicemen and servicewomen sadly miss out on that opportunity each year.

Yet, the ones who do get to fly home often decide there's nothing better than a surprise homecoming. And it's always heartwarming to watch the reactions of their family members, such as the Detroit mom who broke down on live TV when her Marine son walked through the door.

Vince Cammarano of Abilene, TX, showed up to surprise his family as they were shopping at Academy Sports and Outdoors. The store shared a video of the heartwarming moment on its Facebook page, along with the caption, "All they wanted for Christmas was for their dad to come home. Yesterday, they got their wish inside an Academy store."

The clip was viewed more than 3 million times and shared by more than 5,000 people in less than a week.

Cammarano is an Air Force Major who had been away from his loved ones for seven months, according to Texas' Abilene Reporter-News. And his wife, Erica, and three kids  Jocelyn, Logan, and Anthony  were all happy to have Dad home for the holiday season.

Watch below and please SHARE if you're glad this family got to be together for the holidays!
