With Memorial Day right around the corner, it's becoming clearer and clearer that summer is just about here. In fact, as the warm weather begins to spread throughout the country, people everywhere are starting to enjoy the beautiful days. From cookouts to backyard pool parties, nothing is better than beating the heat while enjoying the company of those you love.
Unfortunately, however, everyone doesn't have the pleasure of spending holidays and other important days with the people they love. For those whose family members are off fighting to protect the freedoms we all know and love, most family gatherings serve as small painful reminders of yet another event gone by without an important person present.
However, for one family, a fun scuba diving trip was missing a bit of its usual excitement as one little girl shared how much she missed her father who was deployed in Afghanistan. As the little girl expressed how much she wanted to hug her father, her mother looked on wishing there was something she could do.
Well, both mother and daughter were in for a pleasant surprise when they got the shock of a lifetime. Whoever believes that wishes don't come true is about to have a serious change of heart!
