Successful Millionaire Disguises Herself As An Unhoused Person In Order To Test Her Fiancé

Do you ever really know the person you’re marrying and their true character until you fully take the plunge? This video story shared by Wonderbot on YouTube works to answer that exact question.

Paula, 25, had just completed her education and was ready to make a life in the United States running her parents’ company. Paula also wanted to incorporate a charity component into her life as a passion project that would fulfill her as well as help out the community.

Even though Paula’s parents looked at their daughter’s accomplishments with nothing but pride, they started urging Paula to give more time to her romantic life. She couldn’t help but find it almost comical that her parents felt so strongly about her finding a life partner when they never approved of her boyfriends in recent years.

“Those boys weren’t good enough for you. You’re older now with better judgment, so we trust you,” her mother replied.

That next week, Paula was making her way to a meeting when she noticed a nicely dressed man speaking to someone who appeared to be an unhoused individual. She immediately felt at ease as she took in his warm spirit.

Paula decided to introduce herself and discovered that the man’s name was Curtis and he had recently moved to town to look for an office space. They quickly decided to have lunch together.

The pair completely hit it off during their meal and had so much in common. They spoke every day after their initial meeting, and about six months into their relationship and with her parent's approval, Curtis proposed to Paula.

Shortly before the wedding, one of Paula’s friends told her something that would ultimately change her entire perspective of Curtis.

To find out why Paula disguised herself as an unhoused person and what she discovered about Curtis that fateful day, watch the full video.

While we can’t verify the facts of the heartwarming story told here, we think you’ll be delighted with its sense of wonder and serendipity. We could all use a break from the cycle of negative news. Enjoy!
