On Father's Day, an Oakland A's fan (and devoted mom) went home with a souvenir that had everyone talking!
During Sunday's game, a fan from Gilroy, California, identified by MLB.com by her first name, Michelle, managed to catch a foul ball while holding her toddler son. The incredible moment — proving that moms really can juggle it all — was all caught on camera during Oakland's game against the Anaheim Angels.
"The catch makes for her and her son's first foul ball — and in true parental fashion, she's letting him keep it," MLB.com said.
She was at the game to celebrate Father's Day with her husband and kids and reached out for the ball mostly to protect her family. She never thought the moment would go viral!
Her husband and the entire crowd erupted in cheers, as she seamlessly caught the ball barehanded. The amazing grab happened during the seventh inning, as she snagged the ball away from all the men vying for it.
After the amazing catch, her little boy almost tried to grab it from her and throw it back to the field- like this little boy at the San Diego Padres game.
But Mom is able to stop the unthinkable from happening and made sure to keep the ball in a safe place, out of the reach of her kids. No doubt, this super mom should play for the major leagues.
