Giving a kid a marker can be a dangerous thing. Chances are, the marker came with a piece of paper, but that doesn't mean that's where they'll end up using it.
Some popular places kids like to use said marker are on themselves, family pets, expensive books, and most of all, the oh-so tempting white wall.
In truth, people have been drawing on walls since the times of cavemen, so kids can't be blamed for having this somewhat primal urge.
You can look up cleaning hacks to deal with these "masterpieces" when they happen, put the markers under lock and key, and scold the little troublemaker…
Or you can frame the masterpiece and incorporate it into your home's aesthetic.
The latter idea might sound a little strange, but it's exactly what Kim Massicotte did when she discovered her son had taken some artistic liberties with their white wall.

Instead of getting mad at her son, Kim decided to take the vandalism in stride.
Kim's husband, Eric Massicotte, shared the incident on Twitter.

His message read:
Your kids are going to do things they shouldn’t. It helps if you married someone with a sense of humour.

To be fair, Kim and Eric's son could have drawn something a lot less appropriate or even recognizable.

Kim made sure to pick a frame that really accentuated her son's artistic talent and also complimented the rest of the decor in the room.

Of course, no fine artwork can be hung without a plaque detailing some important facts about the artist and circumstances that inspired the painting.

Honestly, who can resist the urge to draw where we shouldn't?
Even looking at permanent markers can make your imagination run a little wild.

Kim and Eric were far from the only ones who had fun thanks to the little house drawing.
Their actions are even inspiring other parents.

Some users think that Kim and Eric should showcase their own artistic talents on their son's house someday.

This eagle-eyed user also noticed a spot where another house was about to be built. This house deserves a frame, too!

At the end of the day, the wall art could have been a lot worse. Kim and Eric really showed us that there's more than one way to look at kids who get a little too creative.
