Mom Proudly Unveils Her Stomach’s Scars And Excess Skin After Having 3 Babies In 11 Months

After pregnancy and giving birth, a woman's body is never the same. A lot of hormonal and physical changes occur over the course of nine months, and they leave their mark after the baby is born.

Many women complain about their stomach's appearance after their child is born, but can you imagine what carrying more than one baby at the same time is like?

Mom Eliza Curby knows that pregnancy with more than one child isn't easy — but coming to terms with her body's new look is perhaps even harder.

Earlier this year, her story went viral after she found out that she was carrying twins just six weeks after giving birth to her daughter.

She says that she made the mistake of believing in an old wives' tale that a woman couldn't get pregnant while breastfeeding. So she and her partner didn’t use contraception in the weeks after she gave birth to their firstborn.

Now, her twins have made their arrival! She recently posted on Instagram about how her body looks, including an up-close look at her stomach. She's embracing every scar, stretch mark, and all the excess skin!

But the mom had to come to terms with her new body.

She wrote on Instagram:

Just because..
Because I’m not embarrassed of the scars my body now carries.
Because I’m proud of what my body has done for me.

Because many women feel the need to hide it.
Because famous women post “look at my body just three weeks postpartum” and portray unrealistic images of what it means to be a mother.

Because I feel beautiful in my own skin – even if there’s alotttt of it!
Because beauty takes many forms.
Because I can.

Because you should also be proud.
This is me… because I love my body.
