The Holderness Family — Penn (Dad), Kim (Mom), Lola (10-year-old daughter) and Penn Charles (7-year-old son) — are no strangers to making wacky and creative videos that put a spotlight on (and show the funny side of) the various situations parents run into. This time, they've decided to shed light on something not many people are familiar with: the "momposal."
And what exactly is a momposal?
In the video below, Kim likened the "momposal" to the growing popularity of the "promposal," the latter being when one teen asks another to be their prom date.
"Well, I thought I'd surprise my husband with a momposal!" Kim said in the video below.
Just wait until you see what a momposal actually is!
When she arrived in the living room, Penn was relaxing on the couch having a beer.
"Hey honey!" she exclaimed.
Then, with a soundtrack behind her, Kim proceeded to dump flowers and a giant bag of balloons on the unsuspecting and visibly confused Penn!
She then began to dance in front of him, which just made him even more bewildered.
Finally, she held up a large white sign with a message on it for him to read.
"'Will you do laundry?'" he read aloud.
Behold, the momposal: pulling off a creative surprise in order to ask your husband to do some household chores!
