Camera Catches Boy Writing On Napkin, Then Restaurant Owner Sees It’s A Note To Girl With Cancer

Restaurant owner Billy Bajema couldn't believe what he found on a customer's table at Pie Five Pizza in Yukon, Oklahoma: a small napkin scribbled with a special message on it.

Billy reviewed his security camera footage, and the whole thing was caught on tape. A little boy walks over to grab a few napkins. He can be seen scribbling down the message, and then he leaves it behind.

So what could have touched Bajema so much he began sharing the image on social media?

"Keep 4[sic] the girl with cancer! I know it's not much," the napkin read, attached to a small donation of 38 cents. The "girl with cancer" is local 3-year-old Ellie.

The toddler is battling a rare condition called epithelioid hemangioendothelioma after tumors were discovered at the base of her skull. Pie Five Pizza has been helping to collect donations for Ellie's medical bills and support.

However, Billy never expected a gesture like this from a donor so young.

"A young boy left this on the counter at the restaurant today. We want to thank this little guy for his kind gesture and we are proud to be in a community like Yukon that has such caring people," the business owner wrote on Facebook.
