Rhonda Whitney was attending her daughter's talent show in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2018. The proud mom had taken out her camera and started filming as someone else's daughter took the stage to sing her rendition of “Rise Up” by Andra Day. It's a powerful song about being unafraid in the face of adversity. Mid-performance, however, the girl's stage fright got the best of her and she began to completely shut down.
As the seconds ticked by, it became clear that the shy girl was mentally checking out and giving up. The stage fell silent… until the crowd heard another voice ring out from another direction.
The audience members looked around to see who the mystery guest was. They soon realized it was the girl's own mother — who had left her seat in the crowd and was making her way up towards the stage.

This amazing mother proceeded to give her daughter the push she needed. Trust me, you do not want to miss it. "What her mom did had me in tears and I cry every time I watch it," Rhonda wrote on Facebook. After uploading the video online it went viral with millions of views.
The girl in the video didn't win the talent show, but is now becoming an internet sensation thanks to her and her inspirational mother.
