Three months after becoming a mother, Nicki Minaj is finally sharing her baby boy with the world.
The 38-year-old rapper and husband Kenneth Petty welcomed their bundle of joy on September 30. While they haven't shared their little one's name just yet, Nicki did reveal the moniker he almost ended up with.
"You know what his name was supposed to be? I think I might still change it," Nicki told fans during a chat Friday, Entertainment Tonight reports.
"A lot of people said they liked it, but I said, 'Nah.' His name was going to be Ninja. I changed it at the last minute."
Nicki is staying mum on the name, but she couldn't resist the urge to share photos of her son, whom she refers to as "Papa Bear." In the photos, the baby boy is the spitting image of Nicki. His adorable pout is matched by some seriously stylish threads. He wears Fendi, Burberry, Versace, and Gucci ensembles, and yes, he's even got his own iced-out jewelry to match.
"#PapaBear thank you so very much for choosing me to be your mama ," Nicki captioned the photos.
"Wishing you guys a happy & prosperous New Year. Thank you for your love & support throughout this journey. It's meant so much to me. Becoming a mom is by far the most fulfilling job I've ever taken on. Sending love to all the superhero mothers out there. Big hugs to all the women who have been pregnant during this challenging time."
Nicki's recent Twitter Q&A also had the new mom getting candid about breastfeeding. She shared she was relieved that Papa Bear latched on the very first time she tried, but that it's by no means easy.
"But breastfeeding is very painful," she confessed.
"Pumping is too. Women make this stuff look way too easy. Moms [are] really superheroes."
