I think there are times in every parent’s life where raising children starts to feel a little like herding cats.
After all, you’re trying to provide food, shelter, and love to your kids, all while simultaneously trying to teach your little ones to be educated, polite, and kindhearted citizens of the world. It’s not easy task.
That’s why it’s always impressive to stumble upon a parent who has found a new and innovative way of making that child-rearing dream a reality, like these parents teaching their daughter about religion in the cutest way imaginable!
For another prime example, look no further than Nikkole Paulun, a onetime star of the MTV reality show Sixteen And Pregnant, who seems to be doing a stellar job of raising her two kids, Lyle, 6, and Ellie, 3 months.
While Paulun often discusses being unprepared for the challenges of motherhood when she first found out she was expecting Lyle at age 15, she seems to have risen to the occasion admirably as she’s grown up.
What do you think of Paulun's methods? Do you think this is something every little boy should learn?

Today, the 22 year-old embraces the joys of parenting her two bundles of joy, and has a particularly sweet strategy for teaching her oldest, little Lyle, about being a gentleman and treating women with respect and honor.
Once a month, he takes her out on a dinner “date,” which he pays for himself using his allowance money. At dinner, he pulls out the chair for her, they talk about their days, and at the end, he pays and even tips with his allowance.
As Paulun says, “It’s never too early to teach your child how to properly respect others, especially women… Too many men these days have no idea how to treat a woman or how to take them on a nice date. It’s nice to know my son won’t be one of them.” You can read her full post above.
Paulun later clarified that she also gives him extra cash before they go out on the town, since Lyle isn’t earning much in the way of income yet.
For this sweet mother and son, it seems to be more about the gesture of buying dinner for his mama than anything else.
