Having a child is a big decision for any couple. It takes a lot of thought to decide to take care of and raise a baby. And for couples who want large families, it's an even bigger consideration because of the number of mouths to feed and children to clothe. For many parents, having a large family is a no-brainer, but others don't always have a choice.
It's surprise enough to learn that you're not just expecting one baby, but two, three, or even four at the same time. For many expecting parents, this would normally be a time of joy, but once doctors start warning them of the complications of such a pregnancy and the possible death of one or more of the babies, the news becomes grim. One mom got the shocking news that she was expecting septuplets 18 years ago, but now, they're all alive and moving on to bigger and better things.
Nancy and Kent Miller weren't thrilled to hear that they were expecting quintuplets. In fact, they were rather afraid because of the doctors' warnings. Nancy says that the day of the ultrasound was a sad one.
But 18 years after the pregnancy, take a closer look at the Millers' family photos, and you'll be utterly amazed.
