It takes a special person to be a nurse. It requires patience, years of training and lots of heart. Nurses can help ease the burden of a family when they have a loved one in the hospital.
Jessica Wright is a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse in Atlanta who made some beautiful images not only has a great talent as a nurse, but as an artist as her pictures below will show you. Jessica sees many babies in her unit seemingly sleeping peacefully, but as she says herself, "I know better. Those tiny bodies are not at rest; their little lungs, hearts and muscles are actively fighting very tough battles."
Jessica imagines that the little ones she cares for will go on to do amazing things. She says, "I like to think I've cared for the next President of the United States."
