Do you know what causes a hurricane? It is a tropical storm that forms over the ocean, where cold winds form over a warm ocean.
You might not have known this, but an adorable little boy named Oliver does! He loves science so much, he even has his own little show called "Oliver's Science Lab." Since it's summer, he picked the perfect topic to discuss: Hurricanes. They're most common at the end of summer and the beginning of fall. It is incredible how much math and science are hidden in nature!
In Oliver's science lesson, he discusses how hurricanes are formed to educate those of us who didn't know. He also tests out a hurricane simulator, which creates realistic winds of hurricanes. His hair got very messed up from that part of the lesson! Along with giving us great scientific information, Oliver was also prepared with tips in the event of a hurricane.
