Olivia Newton-John’s Family Reveals ‘Supernatural’ Visits From Her One Year After Death

It's been a couple days over one year since British/Australian singer and actress, Olivia Newton-John, passed away. She died at the age of 73 after a long battle with cancer. Olivia was best known for her role in the hit 1978 film, Grease.

Olivia was named the CMA's Female Vocalist of the Year in 1974. She left behind her daughter, 37-year-old Chloe Lattanzi, and her husband (Chloe's stepdad), 71-year-old John Easterling. Though the loss of her hit hard, the two shared that they've experienced supernatural encounters with Olivia since her death.

The icon's family opened up in an exclusive interview with People magazine on the anniversary of her death. They shared details of her last days, how this past year has been without her, and how they've encountered her spirit in some interesting ways.

"Two weeks after she passed my phone accidentally took a picture of my dog, and there floating by his head was a little blue orb, the same color as this," Chloe explained as she touched an aquamarine pendant necklace her stepdad had given her mom. Her mom had then gifted it to her before she died.

“Mom and I had talked years back," Chloe continued. "We’d watch these paranormal shows, and I’d say, ‘You gotta show up for me.’ And she was like, ‘I’ll show up as one of those orb things.’” And to her surprise, she did.

Her widower, John, also has had his share of encounters. He went to visit Peru two months ago with his late wife's ashes. He was holding a private ceremony at the same spot where they got married, commemorating what would have been their 15th anniversary. “I took a picture, and this blue orb is right between my eyes,” he said as he showed the picture on his phone. “It’s been a supernatural year.”

The singer passed away peacefully in her home on August 8, 2022. She had faced a 30-year battle with breast cancer.

She was first diagnosed in 1992. The in 2013, the cancer came back, but she didn't publicly share the info until 2017.

“There’s no replacing her,” said John. He and Chloe have been open about the grief they've experienced. In March 2023, they did an exclusive interview to talk about the loss and how they've been honoring her memory.

People in the comments shared their condolences.

"Chloe you are an inspiration and you are making your mama proud," one person wrote. "As a Breast cancer survivor thank you for all your goodness. ❤️."

"We will never forget Olivia," another comment read. "Her healing continues through the music she left us with. Glad she is out of pain. Sad she is not still here."
