Boys Triumph Over Bullies And Leave Everyone In Tears!

While most groups you see on talent shows require members to be the best of the best, these guys break all the rules – and it pays.

Only Boys Aloud is an all-male choir from South Wales with only one requirement to join: you must make rehearsal at one of their 9 different venues each week. The choir of singers age 14-19 was started to continue the tradition of male singing in Wales, a great pastime. The other reason is pretty awesome too. Many towns in South Wales are plagued by unemployment and poverty, so many teens turn to drugs and crime. This is one way to get the guys off the street and work hard towards something meaningful.

In this amazing audition for Britain's Got Talent, the judges see the choir director and two singers and assume they are the group. By 3:10 they were shocked to see all 133 of the boys take the stage. At that moment I got chills, and you can see that the judges were impressed, too! They received a rare standing ovation from the audience AND the judges for their performance of "Calon Lan".

Choir director Tim Rhys-Evans says that the group has given the young men confidence and meaning that many wouldn't find on their own. He also notes that many of the boys who were picked on at school for being in the choir had the last laugh when they saw them perform on the show.
