I can only imagine how incredibly difficult it is to be a parent. If I ever become one, I'm absolutely sure that I will end up looking for creative, harmless shortcuts left and right.

Sometimes you really just have to step away and accept the total ridiculousness that is your life as a parent.

"On the surface this may look like to the novice two little kids merely coloring a cardboard box. But in Team McWaters alternate universe you're looking at a toy spaceship! If you get all the toys in the spaceship before the buzzer goes off you get to color the spaceship prior to launch. And if you don't bother mom while she's taking her test you get ice cream. Somehow I couldn't work in a nap though."
