Every holiday season, the news team at EastIdahoNews.com delivers surprises for well-deserving people in its community. They've given away hundreds of thousands of dollars and have made the holidays so much better and brighter for so many people.
This year was no exception, as an anonymous Secret Santa reached out to EastIdahoNews.com with an unbelievable mission at hand: to give away more than $500,000 to people who needed it most.
You're about to meet Misty and Ben Ashley, an Idaho couple raising 12 kids between the ages of 1 and 17. Many of their children are either already adopted or in the process of being adopted. Misty and Ben absolutely love children and caring for all kids, especially those with special needs.
Misty and Ben work so hard to provide for their family, and they do so happily. They both work long night shifts that usually don't end until the early morning hours.
A few years back, the Ashleys got a 15-passenger van from the junkyard, but it stopped running … making things extra difficult with so many kids.
Watch the clip below for the incredible moment Misty and Ben walk outside their home to find a life-changing gift. Ben's reaction to the surprise is so genuine and wonderful.
