Man Leaves For His Honeymoon Without His Bride After She Can’t Find Her Passport

Faizan Patel and his new bride Sana were all set and ready to go on their romantic honeymoon throughout Europe. Sana had planned the whole thing down to a T.

Except for one thing.

She figured out the entire trip, planned what they would do in the romantic locations, and booked the flights. But just before it was time to pack their suitcases, Sana realized one key element was missing: her passport.

Despite overlooking this essential detail, Sana didn't want her new husband to miss out on their trip just because she forgot to locate her passport. Plus, they weren't going to be able to get any refunds on their trip. So, it's better that someone take advantage of her near-perfect planning skills!

But once Faizan's solo trip went underway, he turned to social media. This is when things really got interesting.

The tweeting began in the airport, when Faizan had to say goodbye to his bride. That's when the hashtag #HoneyMoonWithoutHoney was born. A bittersweet farewell it was.

But Faizan planned ahead and brought along a cutout of Sana's face so that he'd at least be able to snap some photos with her on his trip.

All the while, Sana was getting her visa process underway, working with the embassy to meet up with her husband as soon as she could.

As Faizan captured the sights without his love, folks on the web were catching on to Faizan's hi jinks, and the hashtag reached India's minister of foreign affairs.

And alas, temporary paperwork went through, and Sana was able to meet up with her husband for the end of the honeymoon. This probably wouldn't have happened if Faizan hadn't tweeted to his friends online!

What a silly, yet surprisingly romantic, story! Even the biggest planners can sometimes forget some really important details. Thankfully, everything worked out in the end.
