5-Year-Old Boy Gives Local Police Officers Gift Bags To Show Them Support

Children can be very thoughtful and giving without needing any prompting from their parents at all.

Despite their young age, children have an ability to understand things well beyond their years. Even if they don't know why something is wrong, they can understand that it is upsetting. In these situations, they tend to commit acts of true kindness that adults wish they could replicate.

After all of the stories about police officers being shot while on duty, one little boy wanted to show his local police department support and love. Only a child could think of such a selfless act!

5-year-old Will Pfister teamed up with his neighbors and mother to make a special delivery to the police officers. He asked his mother if he could make gifts for them.

Along with other members of the community, they stuffed little gift bags with treats and goodies. They made a total of 71 bags to bring to the department, one of which was meant for a police dog.

You can see in the video below of how Will's surprise went. Sergeant Mike Douglas spoke on behalf of the department to express how much this surprise meant to the officers.

If you enjoyed this little boy's act of kindness, you will also love this police officer surprising his young friend with a birthday gift.
