Friends and family are fawning over the littlest royal, who made his public debut on May 8. They announced his name, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, later that day.
Although it's all very new and exciting, the couple is reportedly already thinking about the future of their family. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have welcomed their baby! The Duchess of Sussex gave birth to a little boy on the morning of May 6.
It is an exciting time for the couple. They first announced their pregnancy just days after Princess Eugenie's wedding, when speculation that the couple was expecting reached a fever pitch.
Harry came out to greet the press with the excellent news. He was absolutely thrilled to finally be a dad.
During the press conference, Harry marveled at Meghan's strength. Two days after the baby's birth, Meghan and Harry showed him off to the public for the first time and later that day revealed his name, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
From the sounds of it, Harry and Meghan may already be thinking about expanding their family again. A source close to the couple has told People that they're already thinking about having more children.
Harry first mentioned kids in their engagement interview in late November 2017. The Duke of Sussex said that they would "hopefully start a family in the near future."
With their new space at Frogmore Cottage, Harry and Meghan are excited to start focusing on their own branch of the royal family.
A source close to them explained to People, "There’s so much space for them to be able to take walks with the baby and their dogs and not feel like they are being preyed upon — that was the big thing."
For Meghan, it's a much more low-pressure lifestyle than what they were experiencing at Kensington Palace.
"Meghan’s so happy there compared to Kensington Palace. It’s like night and day," the source continued.
Throughout Meghan's pregnancy, it's been clear that she and Harry both have a way with little ones. It seems they looked for opportunities to meet children at every stop they made.
Harry has particularly been interested in starting a family and is eager to enjoy this step of their lives.
"He’s always enthusiastic with children, and now he will have his own little world that he has dreamed of for a long time," the source said.
It's safe to say that this little boy won't be an only child. According to the source, "Meghan has talked about having one more."
Even if the little lad does end up being the only Sussex baby, he'll have three cousins who are surely excited to meet him. Baby Archie and Prince Louis are just a year apart, so there's a good chance they'll be close.
In the meantime, the new parents have a lot of exciting moments to take in with their little one. Congratulations on the newest member of the royal family!
