Prince Harry Displayed A Rare Personal Photo Of Meghan Markle During A Meeting At The Palace

Prince Harry had a special photo of him and Meghan Markle on display during a royal meeting!

Harry has been carrying out his official duties while Meghan largely stays home with their 1-month-old baby, Archie. He recently held an audience with Nepal's prime minister, KP Sharma Oli. In the background, there was a framed photo of Harry and Meghan. So sweet!

The photo is brand new to royal fans, as it has never made it into the press. It shows Meghan in a blue dress, resting her arm on Harry's chest, while both of them smile at the camera. It appears to be from their engagement photo shoot all the way back in December 2017.

This photo was previously on display in the background of another meeting, too. In May 2018, Queen Elizabeth hosted the Australian high commissioner to the United Kingdom, and the same photo was on a side table.

Prince Harry welcomed his first baby with Meghan Markle about a month ago, but that hasn't kept him from performing his royal duties. He's made several public appearances and has continued to attend royal events.

Harry recently returned to his former home, Kensington Palace, for an official meeting with the prime minister of Nepal, KP Sharma Oli.

Per the Sussexes' Instagram, this was the first time that a Nepali prime minister has visited the UK in 19 years.

There was one little detail about their meeting that royal fans couldn't help but notice. It doesn't have anything to do with the prime minister himself.

In the background of the room where they met, there's a framed photo of Harry and Meghan. This photo has never been publicly released, so it was brand new to royal fans.

It appears to have been taken in December 2017 as part of the Sussexes' engagement photo shoot. It's beautifully framed and features the couple's joint monogram, as well as both of their signatures.

The photo is a sweet way for Harry to remember his wife at home while he carries out his royal duties!

There were also other photos on display during Harry's meeting, including a portrait of Kate Middleton and Prince William.

This meeting wasn't Harry's first encounter with the Nepali prime minister.

"The Duke of Sussex has had a longstanding connection to The Ghurkas and the people of Nepal beginning at a very young age," the Sussexes explained on their Instagram.

"The Duke has previously met KP Sharma Oli, on his first official visit to Nepal in March 2016, a country he had always longed to visit."

At the time, Nepal was recovering from a major earthquake. Harry spent some of his time with a local family, and he also volunteered to help a remote village recover from the disaster.

A few days after the meeting, Harry got to enjoy a less official but very special occasion: his first Father's Day as a dad!

The Sussexes celebrated by sharing a brand-new photo of baby Archie on their Instagram page.

"Happy Father’s Day! And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to The Duke of Sussex!" they captioned the photo.

Meghan has attended only one royal event since giving birth to Archie. She's on maternity leave right now, and she'll likely remain on maternity leave for at least a couple more months.

Meghan did step out to attend Trooping the Colour, however. And she's already making big plans for the next few months — she's going to guest edit the September issue of British Vogue, which is a huge job! And she and Harry are planning a royal tour in Africa.

In the meantime, she and Harry are both taking it as easy as possible and enjoying the new addition to the family. They were both noticeably absent from the Royal Ascot this year, which Prince William and Kate Middleton attended, though Harry and Meghan attended last year after their wedding.

But it must be difficult for Harry to be away from his family at this time. Maybe he carries a photo of Meghan around in his wallet, too — who knows?!
