Prince Harry Reportedly Dropped These Common Vices In Solidarity With Pregnant Meghan Markle

Prince Harry joined Meghan Markle in giving up alcohol when she became pregnant, according to a new report from the Daily Express. It's an impressive move, because Harry apparently used to be a "brutal drinker."

I'm sorry, but does this sound like the innocent-looking, redheaded Prince Harry we've all come to know and love? The one who lets kids play with his beard? A "brutal drinker"?

Wait — now that I think about it, there was that time in 2012 when he stripped naked in Las Vegas.

"He was always fidgeting and on the go, always looking for the next thrill," the source said. "Now his new regime doesn’t make him the most entertaining party guest in the world, but he’s definitely more chilled and relaxed."

Harry's party animal days are long over. In addition to alcohol, he gave up caffeinated beverages, including tea. Yes, this royal Brit apparently gave up tea for his pregnant wife. True love runs deep.

Let's be honest — Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are a cute-as-heck couple.

They always appear to be swooning over each other. Remember their heart-melting engagement photos?!

And they regularly break royal protocol by holding hands and being affectionate in public.

Aww.

Well, the Duke of Sussex's love for his wife reportedly runs deep enough that it caused him to completely overhaul his lifestyle.

He no longer drinks alcohol or caffeine, an inside source told the Daily Express. Harry reportedly quit alcohol, tea, and coffee in solidarity with Meghan when she became pregnant.

"Considering he's been a pretty brutal drinker since he was a young teenager, it's quite an achievement," the source said.

Indeed, Prince Harry used to have a much different public image. In 2012, he was photographed naked while playing strip pool in Las Vegas, causing a huge royal scandal.

But all that changed once Meghan came along. Meghan is a notoriously healthy eater, and her mom, Doria Ragland, is a yoga teacher.

"All she did was show him there's another way to live and he's become a huge fan," a friend of Harry's told the Daily Express.

"He eats well, doesn't poison his body, exercises, does a bit of yoga and is a lot happier."

Harry is reportedly more "chilled and relaxed" now, despite being significantly less "fun" at parties.

I don't know about that, though. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem to enjoy plenty of fun and laughter in their relationship — even if it's not of the "strip pool" variety!

Harry is also 34 years old now, so it was about time to quit the Vegas strip pool anyway, yeah?

"Fun" for this man is now grabbing his wife's butt in public, and I'm all for it.

The couple announced their first pregnancy in mid-October. Though Kensington  Palace hasn't revealed the official due date for the baby just yet, the duchess recently hinted to a reporter that the baby is "nearly there." Eek!

So if there were ever a time to get serious and stop partying, this is definitely it.

Now that their family is growing, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will soon move into their newly renovated home at Frogmore Cottage, a significant upgrade from their current two-bedroom digs.

Though it's unclear how long the couple's teetotaling will last, it sounds like they may be more likely to install a juice bar than a liquor cabinet.
