Prince William’s Children Have A Brand-New Last Name After Queen Elizabeth’s Death

Queen Elizabeth's passing brought a lot of changes to the royal family. Many members of the family have received new titles, and Prince William and Kate Middleton's children have even received brand-new last names.

Before the queen's death, the three children used Cambridge as their last name at school and on official documents. Now the family has swapped out the name for something else.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are now going to use the last name Wales instead of Cambridge. This is in line with their new titles, as the children are now known as Prince George of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales, and Prince Louis of Wales.

The new titles were announced by King Charles following his ascension to the throne. The children's mother, Kate Middleton, is also the first person to use "Princess of Wales" since the death of Princess Diana in 1997.
