Princess Anna From Frozen Made A Call To A Very Special Fan

Little Avery Huffman had a dream come true this past week when she received a very special voicemail from her favorite Disney princess, Anna of Arendelle.

Anna, who you may know as the protagonist of the hit Pixar film Frozen, had heard that Avery needed a little cheering up. Avery, who is six years old, was diagnosed last month with an inoperable brain tumor. Like this little boy who got to meet his idol, Avery's biggest wish when she got sick was to hear from her favorite movie character.

This little trooper is fighting for her life every day, and actress Kristen Bell, who voices Princess Anna, decided to lend a hand. After hearing about Avery’s love of Frozen, Bell got into character as Princess Anna and left her the sweetest voicemail we’ve ever heard.

Her dad captures the moment that Avery, wearing a snazzy leopard-print eye patch after treatment, gets the call. Her whole face lights up — just like when this young cancer patient got a puppy — and you know that this moment has changed her life.

The princess explains that she and her sister, Queen Elsa, have heard that Avery “has been such a good girl, and so brave” that they have decided to make her an honorary Princess of Arendelle. When Avery hears about her new title, her smile is as bright as a sunbeam, and you can see her fighting spirit!

Anna tells her to say hi to her friends, naming them individually, and then explains that she has to go “build a snowman with Olaf.” Their ‘conversation’ lasts just one minute, but I don’t think that our newest royal will be forgetting about this phone call anytime soon!

Avery still has a tough fight ahead of her, but we’re hoping that her new best friend has given her the extra bit encouragement she needs to win her battle.
