Sergeant Tries To Scare Him Straight, But Then He Says He Never Had A Dad

The little boy was out of control. He misbehaved so badly that his mother felt she had no choice but to send the 10-year-old boy to boot camp. She brought him to meet Drill Sergeant Raymond Moses on the Jenny Jones Show about a decade ago.

Moses ran a boot camp called About Face until 2013, where he helped teens reform their bad behavior.

“They cry when they arrive, and then they cry again when its time to go back home," Moses would say.

The funny thing is, this boy in particular never shed a single tear. The drill sergeant's tactics are very extreme, he speaks to even the smallest children aggressively the way you'd expect in the military. He feels this is the best way to help the toughest kids.

However, when Moses got in this little guy's face, he expected hostility, a shouting match, maybe some eye-rolling, instead he was left stunned.

"You're not an adult until you're 18," Moses said waving his finger in the boy's face. "Do you want me to be your daddy for the next eight years son? Huh?!"

The little boy's response was, "Yes, sir."

Moses was so taken aback he had to stop. When he asked him why, the little boy said, "I have no daddy."

The pair hugged tightly, and Moses escorted the boy, clearly in need of a father figure, off the stage and to his boot camp. The short viral video shows that sometimes those who hurt others the most are the ones who are in most need of compassion.
