A pet can mean the world to someone, especially when you are young and still figuring out this thing called life.
Pets are not just family, they can be the best friend you've had your entire life and the one you can run to when things get rough at school or on the playground. For one little boy, losing his cat, Clyde, was more than just heartbreaking.
Ten-year-old Jared's parents had Clyde for a year before he was even born, so the two best buds spent a lifetime together. When Clyde went missing, everyone assumed the 11-year-old cat would not make it home anytime soon. Understandably, the boy was devastated and lost without his companion.
Twelve days went by and Clyde was nowhere to be found. That's when a neighbor finally came across a flyer describing the missing cat and brought him home to safety. Since Jared was at school, his mom took this as the perfect opportunity to have a surprise reunion.
