Whitney has a boisterous, over-the-top personality, and her mom Babs has a stoic, dry wit. The pair, at face value, look at odds with each other, but you can always tell they love each other and have a lot of fun teasing each other's quirks.
In this scene from the mother and daughter's reality show, My Big Fat Fabulous Life, Whitney is in a bit of a bind. She bends over at the supermarket to pick something up, and then she hears it, her pants are completely ripped.
Thankfully, she and Babs have a wicked sense of humor about it.
"Good heavens, a crater, she has ripped a crater in her pants," Babs jokes. Whitney says she has an extra pair in the glove compartment of her car but she doesn't want anyone to see the giant hole in her pants. Babs thinks the hole, which reveals her pink flower print underwear, just looks like a patchwork design.
Then the two come up with a wacky plan to exit the supermarket without anyone noticing. The two women form a conga line and perfectly walk in sync out of the store. Yes, they do call a bit of attention to themselves, but at least no one saw the hole in her pants!
"Here we go just like the little engine that could and the big caboose," Babs says hilariously. The two make it out unscathed in the memorable and outrageous scene!
