When You See What School Lunches In Other Countries Look Like, Your Jaw Will Drop…

I was a very picky kid. When it came to school lunches, all I needed was a PB&J on white bread, a bag of chips, and a juice box, and I was set! Because of my very particular (and frankly, unhealthy) palette, I tended to shy away from cafeteria food. And from what I saw on my friends' trays, it didn't really seem like I was missing anything great

But what if I had attended school in another country? Well, according to these photos, maybe I would have left those brown bags at home. Some of these school lunches look restaurant-level delicious!

Sweetgreen — an organization that supports local, organic farmers and strives to impact child obesity — has traveled the world and compiled these lovely photos of other cultures' school lunches. As I scrolled through, I realized I'd never thought about what other countries served their kids for lunch, but what a fascinating topic!

How do you think America's school lunch compared? Which country's lunch looks the yummiest to you?
