I’ve heard tell of pets that “speak” to their owners when spoken to. When raising my cat, I found he was incredibly vocal about when he needed something? Food? First he’d call to me, and then he’d run to his bowl.
Whether our pets are actually conversing with us or just signaling that they can intuit our responses is up for speculation, but Sebastian the Newfoundland may be an example of the former. We met Sebastian a while back, but one our favorite videos of this gentle giant was a side-splitting video of the dog responding to a sore subject when his owner brings up a cupcake that went missing. Below, Sebastian chimes in with a few complementary notes when his little human companion starts singing.
We love this puppy duet, and it reminded us of a few others. Take, for instance, Bossman the English bulldog howling along to his favorite tune, Joe Walsh’s “Rocky Mountain Way.” My personal favorite, without contest, is a not-so-supportive puppy response by a man’s poor Bullmastiff. When Curt Kendall begins to sing “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” Norman politely asks him to, err, put a lid on it.
From what we gather though, Sebastian’s duets are a frequent household activity. If their sweet song made you smile, SHARE it with your friends!
