Something WONDERFUL Is Happening On This Playground. It’s Truly One-Of-A-Kind.

It's the little things that so many of us take for granted. Like being able to talk to another person. To play. To just feel "normal." But for children with disabilities, feeling "normal" can be rare. You're constantly reminded of things other kids can do that you're unable to. One group in California is changing all of that.

When Scott Williams' son, Shane, was born, doctors said the best case scenario would be a life spent in a wheelchair. He was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a degenerative condition that left him unable to play and socialize with others his age. After Shane passed, his father started Shane's Inspiration, a group that builds inclusive playgrounds disabled children can use and organizes monthly events to encourage socialization. I LOVE things like this! It's true that change happens when just one person is inspired by the life of someone else!
