Sharon Osbourne Reveals That Her 3-Year-Old Granddaughter Minnie Has COVID-19

On Monday, season 11 of The Talk premiered. While two of the show's hosts, Sheryl Underwood and Carrie Ann Inaba, were in the studio, Eve and Sharon Osbourne appeared virtually.

Sharon explained that she was meant to also be in the studio, but life had other plans. The 67-year-old host was forced to keep her distance after one of her granddaughters tested positive for COVID-19.

Jack Osbourne's 3-year-old daughter, Minnie, has tested positive, Sharon revealed. She's doing well so far, thankfully. Sharon also assured fans that, so far, the rest of the family was in good health. Everyone else has tested negative at this time.

Sharon also shared that they believe the 3-year-old contracted the virus from a family employee. She hoped that by sharing Minnie's story, people would be reminded that children are still vulnerable to the virus. It was just a month ago that the whole family was on vacation together, with no idea what the future would hold.

Sharon Osbourne meant to broadcast from the set of The Talk for their season 11 premiere. But while hosts Sheryl Underwood and Carrie Ann Inaba were in-studio, Eve and Sharon appeared virtually. Sharon's reason for being absent from the studio was alarming for some.

Sharon revealed that she is quarantining after one of her granddaughters tested positive for COVID-19.

"I was meant to be in the studio," Sharon said.

"I was so looking forward to it, and then unfortunately one of my granddaughters has come down with COVID."

Jack Osbourne's 3-year-old daughter, Minnie, recently tested positive.

"She's OK. She's doing good. I don't have it. Her daddy doesn't have it. Her mommy doesn't have it. Her sisters don't," Sharon shared with fans.

Minnie is the youngest of Jack's three daughters. He's also dad to 8-year-old Pearl and 5-year-old Andy. He shares the girls with ex-wife Lisa Stelly after their divorce was finalized last March. They were married for seven years.

Sharon shared how they believe Minnie contracted the virus.

"She caught the virus from someone who works for my son," Sharon explained.

"And it just goes to show you, she's 3 years of age, that children can get COVID."

Sharon's already halfway through her quarantine.

"I've got one more week left of quarantining and then I'm out," she shared.

"I don't have it. I keep testing negative, but you have to be safe."

The family had all been together just a few weeks ago when they went on vacation together. Sharon, Ozzy, and Jack went away together with the girls and Jack's girlfriend, Aree Gearhart. Jack shared a sweet family photo of the getaway.

Recently, Jack opened up about what his parenting style is like in comparison to how his parents were:

"I'm a little more structured with my kids than my parents were with me. Like, I won't take them out of school just to go travel."

Jack also shared that co-parenting the girls with Lisa is "going really well."

"It's all you can really ask for at this stage," he noted.

"It's great."

He has a lot of fun with raising the girls, who he says are "the most girly girls imaginable."

"My middle one, Andy, will only wear, like, big gowns all day long," he said.

"Like she's going to a quinceañera every day."
