An Incredible, Random Act Of Kindness At Walmart Reaches One Family At The Perfect Time

Everyone knows what it's like to go through tough times. No matter what's going on, it just affects everything else in your life and weighs heavily at the back of your mind.

And the worst part of these periods of time is that life doesn't stop and wait for you to get your feet back on the ground securely. It keeps on moving and you have to just do your best to act like everything is OK. It can be exhausting.

And it's at times like these that even the smallest acts of kindness feel bigger than everything else. Something like paying for a stranger's groceries or donating something that you don't use anymore can make all the difference for someone who needs something to go right.

For the Modlin family, mom Ruby's illness was one of those times. Modlin was on the transplant list and awaiting a new liver when she and her husband went to buy groceries at Walmart.

The Modlins were about to pay their $211 grocery bill when a kind stranger stepped in and took out his own credit card to make the purchase.

He didn't give his name, he just simply helped a family that he didn't even know was going through a hard time and moved on without any expectations.

If that's not the definition of a good deed, then I don't know what is.
