Organ donors can give lives to dozens of people through successful transplants.
For example, this little boy in Minnesota who got a second chance at life when a 4-year-old girl from Arizona tragically passed away. Her liver was flown thousands of miles and saved another set of parents from the heartbreak that comes with losing a child.
Then, there's this 7-month-old baby who died under the supervision of a babysitter. His heart went to save another little girl and allowed his mother to get another listen to her baby's heartbeat.
For the Heisler family, their 21-year-old son Matt's death came as a heartbreaking shock. Matt was caught in a house fire, and despite his roommate performing CPR, later died at the hospital.
