Snooki is being mom-shamed for using strollers for her kids at Disney World, but she is not having it.
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is currently very pregnant with her third child with her husband, Jionni LaValle. The two already share two children: Lorenzo, 6, and Giovanna, 4. Somehow, the whole family managed to make it to Disney World for a weekend getaway.
Snooki posted a lot of cute photos from the family trip, including one Instagram post where the kids are in costumes and sitting in strollers. Yes, strollers. Cue the mom shamers.
"Omg my kids would never be in a stroller that big," one mom wrote. "3 kids and have done Disney 3 times. If you’re over 2, you’re walking."
"All them kids know how to walk," another commenter wrote.
Snooki replied to the trolls in the comments, explaining that strollers just make life easier in large crowds. While her kids can walk, using strollers "saves me the stress of not losing my offspring."
Fair! Disney can get really hectic even when you're not pregnant and famous.
Snooki just enjoyed an epic family vacation to Disney World. She and husband Jionni brought along their two kids: Lorenzo, 6, and Giovanna, 4.
Judging by Snooki's many Instagram updates, the whole family had a great time. They met their favorite Disney characters, watched the fireworks, and went on all sorts of rides.
But the trip was also exhausting. Disney World is exhausting for even the most athletic people, but it was especially hard on Snooki, who's currently got a bun in the oven.
"Disney kicked this Big Mawma's a**," she captioned one photo of the trip.
To make things slightly easier and less stressful, Snooki and Jionni opted to put their kids in strollers. Sure, they can walk on their own and have probably been doing so for years, but when you have to walk for miles and miles through a crowded theme park all day, strollers can make life easier for both kids and caregivers.
When Snooki posted a photo that showed the strollers, though, the trolls came out of the woodwork.
They immediately criticized Snooki and said that the kids are too old to still be using a stroller.
And they pointed out that Giovanna and Lorenzo know how to walk (um, duh).
Some of the trolls were fellow parents, who implied that letting older kids use strollers is just spoiling them.
Snooki set the record straight in a since-deleted reply to the trolls.
"They walk!" she said. "But in large crowds I prefer they sit their a**es down. Saves me the stress of not losing my offspring."
After Snooki defended herself, other people came forward to support her.
"I think she’s pretty smart for bringing strollers for the kids," one commenter wrote. It is a lot easier than having to eventually carry an exhausted child or take a million breaks.
Some moms pointed out that the trolls were basically mom-shaming Snooki.
"Good for you if your child will walk 10 miles at Disney World. If she wants to put her kids in a stroller, let her! I’m 32 years old and I would ride around in a stroller too around Disney," one woman wrote.
As a mother, pretty much any decision will result in judgment from someone, so you gotta do what works for you.
(And while we're talking about strollers, Disney just changed its rules about which ones are allowed, so if you plan to go this route, plan ahead!)
The most important thing is that Disney remains the Most Magical Place on Earth for the kiddos. That certainly seemed to be the case for Snooki's kids.
Honestly, it's impressive that Snooki made it to Disney World with the family at all. She's very pregnant with her third child with Jionni.
They're expecting another baby boy.
Meanwhile, Snooki's Jersey Shore bestie Deena Cortese recently gave birth to her first baby.
Snooki announced her pregnancy on Thanksgiving, which means she's probably due sometime in the next couple months.
