A Soldier Mother Surprises Her Two Sons, But Then They Surprise Her Back

When Army Captain Dawn McCracken-Bruce finally came home from being stationed in Iraq, she was so excited to see her two little boys, Tyson and Dominic. But her babies might have been even more excited to be reunited with their brave mom after so many months separated.

For weeks, she was stuck at a base camp in Texas, unsure when she'd be able to make it all the way home to her family in Pittsburgh. You can imagine how slowly time moved during those moments of simply waiting, once she was finally on the same continent as her family again. Christmas drew nearer and nearer, until it was time for her 2- and 4-year-old boys to go visit Santa at the local mall.

Little did they know that their mother was right around the corner by the time they made it to Santa's lap.

This moment alone is enough to make you reach for the tissues, but ABC News didn't stop rolling there. Why? They had another trick up their sleeve.

As Dawn walks through the halls of the mall with her two boys and her husband, she's already fighting back tears of joy. But then, she hears some music playing, and it wasn't Christmas music to match the festive decorations…

When she sees where the fanfare is coming from, she loses it in the sweetest way possible.
