Ashley Drake blacked out in her SUV while driving through Riverside, California. 5-year-old Caden was in the backseat with his little brother when he watched his mother pass out.
Because she felt so dizzy, she pulled over on the side of the road. And in a twist of fate, Ashley was actually speaking with her own mother over the phone at the time.
She told her mother that she felt like she might be having a bad reaction to her medication, before dropping the phone and blacking out.
Caden was working hard to comfort his little brother in the backseat. He then quickly moved to the front of the car to pick up the phone, and told Grandma what happened.
Caden’s grandmother told him to call the OnStar Emergency system in his car. We've seen similar rescue stories, like when a little girl saw her dad was suffering a heart attack, and immediately called 911 to relay her father’s symptoms.
