If there is one universal gift that's lent itself to countless hours of post-breakup Netflix binging, bitter winter weekends spent indoors, or just some good ol' Sunday morning viewing — it's borrowed HBO Go and Netflix passwords.
You know the ones.
You probably got them from a parent, a best friend, or an ex-significant other, but they're definitely not yours (unless you happen to be one of the kind people actually financing this fiasco — in which case, thank you). And while multiple user profiles now allow you to keep your selections separate from the eclectic tastes of your nice aunt, the bottom line is: Somebody's still payin' — and it ain't you. (I, too, am guilty…only for those American Horror Story marathons.)
In a new parody PSA from Mashable that hits the proverbial nail square on its password-hogging head, your parents would like you to please stop stealing their HBO Go and Netflix logins. They love you, but they hate your taste in television and are having a tough time filtering Ru Paul's Drag Race out of their suggested viewing feed. (And no — that doesn't mean you simply log out of theirs and into one provided by your roommate.)
