No matter what age you are, it is never easy being away from your parents for a long amount of time. For children of military families, there is never a guarantee of when they will get to see each other next, and each moment they do get to spend together is cherished.
The three children in this video might still be very young, but it doesn't mean that they don't miss their dad terribly when he is gone.
Similar to other surprise homecomings, the reactions of this family do not disappoint, as this soldier finds a creative and adorable way to surprise his children. Like the dad who went classroom to classroom surprising each of his six children individually on his return home, or the father who brought his daughters to tears with his special homecoming, this dad shows his love for his children by making this a moment that they will remember forever.
Rather than to sneak up behind them, or show up where they least expected to see him, this soldier father decided to give his kids two of the things they love most in life all in one: a giant gift and their daddy home and safe.
