For most kids, getting a pet of their very own is at the top of every one of their Christmas and birthday wish lists. But, because they are a big responsibility, many parents are reluctant to get their child a pet until they think they are old enough and responsible enough to help take care of it.
When the time is right, nothing is better than seeing your child's face light up as they play and cuddle with their new pet, promising to love it forever and trying to pick out a cute name.
Judging by the reaction that comes out of these sisters in this video, they have been asking mom and dad for a puppy for quite a while…and to their surprise, mom and dad think it's about time.
If you have seen the video of another young girl who was surprised by a puppy when she came home from school, or the video where parents wrote a poem to let their daughter know about their new pet, you know that these types of surprises can be so overwhelming that they can bring you to tears. There's just something about an adorable ball of fluff and being caught off guard that has that effect on people.
The two sisters in this video have a very similar reaction when they think they are being handed tools and instead get a newspaper full of puppy, and it really doesn't get any cuter than their reactions!
