In Atlanta, it's usually too warm for there to ever be snow. But the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta wanted to bring the magic of the season to their sick children and families and created a surprise winter wonderland for the patients.
As the sun began to set, the "snow" began to fall. The young kids squealed with delight as they marveled at the magic outside their windows. For many, it was the first time these kids had seen snow — even if it was fake. Some of the kids went outside and started dancing and playing in the artificial snow. Others made snow angels and even had snowball fights.
During the magical moment, these sick kids looked so happy as the snowfall helped take their minds off their illnesses. This was truly a beautiful surprise for all these children and their families and will be a lasting memory they'll have together.
