I'll never forget how disappointed I was as a child when I asked my parents about their grand romantic gesture, only to be told it was barely anything more than an ordinary conversation.
Luckily, the young man in the video below had the perfect opportunity to really sweep his lady off her feet when she headed off on vacation with her mom and aunt to see the New York City sights.
The Calgary, Canada resident had always dreamed of having her future husband pop the question on top of the Rockefeller Center observation deck.
So, Brett booked a ticket to the Big Apple and did just that! Even though it's clearly something she's talked about before, she can't help but be completely stunned when she turns around and sees the familiar face amongst the tourists.
For a moment, though, she was a bit scared he had arranged the elaborate stunt only as a joke, something I'm pretty sure would have been a dealbreaker for the whole relationship!
