They say that one good deed can start a chain reaction, but I've ever heard of something like this. It really shows you the good in people!
When it comes to helping others, there are a lot more people who are willing able to devote their time rather than their money. And this doesn't come from a place of selfishness or greed, but because most people just don't have the extra money to give.
For this reason, chains of kindness usually take the form of small actions. For example, this boomerang of good deeds starts with a man helping a boy up off the road and comes full circle by the end of the video. It shows just how tiny of an action can turn someone's whole day around.
That's not to say that good deeds that start with money as their basis don't do just as much good as the more small-scale actions.
Take this ambulance story. It all begins with a $200,000 donation and ends with an ambulance in a town that never had one before!
At this Target in Oregon, one woman's decision to anonymously pay a family's bill when they couldn't afford it turned into a chain of kindness that has yet to be broken.
It just goes to show how far a little bit of generosity and compassion can go!
