If you know any new mothers who are trying to breastfeed (or if you've ever been that new mother yourself!), you know that nursing is a complicated process.
It's made even harder by the fact that it is really challenging to find a safe, comfy place to nurse your baby.
Now, Target is bursting onto the scene with an awesome solution: a feeding station!
The Target in New Braunfels, Texas, is pioneering a brand-new "feeding station" for mamas to take care of their little ones, according to new mom Hannah Castillo.
Hannah posted a photo of the innovative idea on Facebook, and moms everywhere are applauding.
That's because breastfeeding is already complex and difficult; it doesn't help that nursing mothers are routinely shamed by complete strangers for feeding their babies in public. When a baby's gotta eat, he's gotta eat!
Right now, it's looking like Target has come up with the perfect remedy! Scroll through to learn more.

New mom Hannah Castillo was shopping as her local Target in New Braunfels, Texas, when she noticed a new addition.
The store had constructed a small nursing nook in a corner of the store for moms in need of a quiet place to nurse.
Castillo's photo of the nook became a megahit on Facebook, with nearly 45,000 shares and 20,000 approving reactions.

Castillo's caption read: "Went to Target today and saw this amazing addition to the baby section! The basket on the ground has free breast pads too!"
The feeding station is definitely well-equipped. There are a couple of comfy chairs to accommodate more than one woman at a time.
There are also comfy nursing pillows and cover-ups for moms who want to use them.

Several moms commented on the post approvingly and noted that the staff at the store had also hung up a tidy laminated sign marking the corner.
It reads: "Feeding Station. Please Enjoy!"
Lots of moms liked the term "feeding station" because it reinforces how vital nursing is for babies.

A newborn baby needs to eat eight times a day, and will let you know very loudly when it's time for a snack.
If you happen to be breastfeeding, that snack is you. Babies don't care where you are when they get hungry, they just need to eat.
For moms, it can be incredibly challenging to find a safe spot to nurse in public away from disapproving eyes.

Even though breastfeeding is an ancient and beautiful part of motherhood, there are some unfortunate stigmas these days.
From the end of the 19th century to the middle of the 20th, breastfeeding was looked down on in a lot of circles.
Even today, people tend to sexualize breasts, and view breastfeeding as something shameful instead of natural.

Some pioneering brands like Mamava are putting great little breastfeeding stations in busy public places like airports and train stations to give moms extra privacy.
We love the idea of taking a page out of Target's book and making a small, cozy station in a comfortable corner to give exhausted nursing moms a break.
