Teen Wakes Up From Coma After Fatal Crash With Classmates & Parents Cannot Explain Changes

When you’ve gone through something as traumatic and life-altering as coming out of a coma, all you want to feel is sheer joy when you wake up and are finally able to speak your first words. But what if that moment doesn’t go as planned, and things are simply never the same?

This video shared by Wonderbot tells the story of a teenage girl who wakes up from a coma and the unbelievable discovery that followed.

Laura van Wren was a totally normal teenager who grew up in a big family of four. She couldn’t wait to be able to go off and start college, but she also wanted to completely soak up her last few years of teenage freedom.

During high school, Laura attended a field trip with her fellow classmates and teachers that would change everything.

When they were on their way back from the field trip traveling in a van, a driver in another car hit them from out of nowhere, resulting in an intense high-speed collision.

Tragically, the crash took the lives of five people that day, including a close friend of Laura’s named Whitney. The crash rendered Laura unconscious, and she was taken to the hospital that day, with her family close by waiting for her to wake up.

The doctors soon informed Laura’s family that she was in a coma, and it would likely take a miracle for her to wake up.

Eventually, Laura finally came to, and even though the doctors warned the van Wren family that their daughter suffered brain damage and would likely be different post-coma, there was something majorly off. Laura actually seemed like an entirely different person.
