Usually when you think of a restaurant chain with multiple locations all over the place, a lot of people tend to think of some big corporate and faceless entity that doesn't know the value of the local community.
While that may be true for some stores, we can happily say that there is at least one restaurant called "Texas Roadhouse" down in Savannah, GA, that is well aware that every single person who walks through their doors is a valuable neighbor, and that every single person who works in their store wants the store they work at, and therefore the community as a whole, to prosper.
It might seem silly to some people, but thankfully the vast majority of Americans still know to respect their elders, and when a few people found out that one sociable senior citizen who was enjoying his dinner was a war veteran, more than one table offered to pay for his entire meal.
So when the man's meal was over, one kindly and patient waiter walked up to this senior and gave him some interesting news.
