For anyone who has had the pleasure of owning and taking care of a dog, one of the most amazing moments that they look forward to is when they hear the clink of their leash that lets them know they're about to go outside for a walk.
Dogs are energetic and playful creatures, so whenever they get the opportunity to stretch out their legs and smell the fresh air, they tend to get a bit jumpy. Whether the walk is meant to just exercise the dog and his mind, to go to the bathroom, or both, these animals just love to be outside.
So when a woman spotted a town's senior citizen walking his adorable little dachshund, she noticed something incredible. This little dog, while he loved being outside and free, knows that his human has a little bit of trouble walking and has to use a cane.
While the dog certainly wants to run around and jump, he's so good, well trained and patient with his human that he stands and waits for him as the man slowly walks. The senior citizen takes good care of his dog, taking him for walks multiple times a day in spite of the pain, so the dog wants to make sure he takes good care of his human.
This man enjoys his freedom, and doesn't want help unless he absoltely needs it, and you have to respect his wishes on that. Especially when he has such a good friend looking after him!
